for those who opt not to read the book dyscalculia is pretty much dyslexia but for math. I have trouble reading maps, reading analogue clocks, doing math, i can’t do math that isn’t just adding or subtracting mentally, and I have trouble budgeting.

So yeah I’m always losing track of my stitches x)

Ha I have Dyscalculia too (yeah I know thrashing autistic stereotypes ftw) and I have problems with this too.

I’m currently knitting a cowl and had to cast on 245 stitches. Just. Kill me. I went totally wrong the first three or four rows but am refusing to frog and start over because JUST NO, OKAY, NO. Nobody will notice the wobbly first rows anyway :P

If a project calls for casting on more than about 120 stitches, and the count needs to be accurate, I either find a new project or use a lace sideways method. Screw that, I knit for fun. If I wanted something stressful, I’d be working on my thesis.
